Measles cases are rising in London

Please make sure your child is up to date with their vaccinations and book an appointment at the surgery to catch up on missed doses. Two doses of the MMR vaccine can provide lifelong protection against measles.

Measles is more than just a rash. 1 in 5 children with measles will need hospital treatment. It can cause serious complications and in rare cases can be fatal.

If you are unsure if you or your child are up to date with your vaccinations, please contact the practice.

Polio Booster Campaign

Children aged 1 to 9 years old in London are being offered a dose of polio vaccine. For some children this may be an extra dose on top of their routine vaccinations. In other children it may bring them up to date with their routine vaccinations.

Text messages have been sent to parents of 1 to 9 year olds inviting them to book a vaccination appointment for their child or children.

Parents with children aged between 5 and 9 years old can book an appointment at a dedicated vaccination clinic.

Please visit www.southwestlondon.icb.nhs.uk/find-nhs-services/vaccinations/polio/polio-vax-booking/ for a list of participating vaccination sites in South West London.
